She provides bilingual speech-language services through individualized, functional intervention, with clinical interests including social communication, articulation, language disorders, AAC implementation, and postsecondary transition skills. Her work emphasizes inclusion and meaningful participation, reflected in her facilitation of social cognition groups, co-leadership of inclusive programs such as Best Buddies, and family-centered early intervention services.

Kenya’s professional training includes experience with both pediatric and adult populations, including individuals with aphasia, apraxia, and complex communication needs. She is skilled in comprehensive assessment, IEP and IFSP-aligned service delivery, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support communication carryover across home, school, and community environments.

For Kenya, the most rewarding aspect of being a speech-language pathologist is building strong relationships while empowering individuals and families with the communication skills needed for independence, self-advocacy, and meaningful participation in daily life.
