Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

We are currently not in-network with private insurance companies. However, certain therapies are eligible for reimbursement via a Superbill. A Superbill is an itemized form used by providers that reflect services rendered. It is a form that is used as data to create a claim that is submitted to payers (insurance companies) for reimbursement. We can provide a Superbill for rendered services. We encourage you to ask your insurance company if they can provide reimbursement for therapy. You can find the questions in Are you eligible for insurance reimbursement?

Why won’t you accept _______ insurance?

We’ve experienced situations where out of network insurance companies would limit the number of sessions within a certain time period. This has resulted in cessation of services. An interruption in therapy and having a gap in between sessions can interfere with progress. Additionally, if you have an insurance plan with a high deductible, it’s very possible you will have to pay out of pocket before coverage kicks in. Some insurance companies will also have a cap on how much they will pay for a service, which means your therapy could get cut off before it is complete. Directly working with out of network insurance companies will interfere with plan of care and prevent us from providing exceptional services to our clients and families.

However, we do understand that insurance is very important and we encourage you to seek in-network providers first.

Where is your location?

All in-person evaluations and therapies are done in the comfort of your own home. Transportation (including toll roads), and providing any report, data, progress or resources are all included in the service rates. Teletherapy sessions are conducted via Simple Practice, a HIPAA-compliant platform.
