Carina Ruiz M.S., CCC-SLP

¡Hola a todos! My name is Carina and I am a bilingual speaker with fluency in Spanish. I grew up in the small town of Fallbrook in San Diego County. I became a speech-language pathologist after several years of supporting my hometown’s special education school system as a special education assistant. As a special education assistant, my interest grew quickly as I collaborated with the multidisciplinary team (Speech, Occupational, Adaptive Physical Education, Psychologist, SPED teacher, and staff) to achieve important developmental milestones. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University, San Marcos, and my Master of Science in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Northridge. My goal is to bring joy and excitement to children and their families as we collaborate to support their language development through child-led and play-based activities.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, lifting weights at the gym, and exploring different coffee shops.
